This oldest known scented tea originated in Hunan province of China. The rich soil and varied day temperatures of this region produce an aromatic leaf which is further scented with tender jasmine flowers. The summer blossoms are collected from the banks of Min River and kindred with the prepared tea to let the flower’s natural fragrance merge into the tea. Despite its heave fragrance, its flavor is surprisingly light and refreshing. Its dark green leaves with remains of blossoms give it an elegant orange hue, as if collected from a rusty barrel. Its fresh and flowery essence with hints of moonlight makes it a very romantic tea for special occasions of love and celebration.
