I like its robust flavor with a hint of smokiness. I have grown very fond of its wine like taste which makes for an enjoyable evening drink to relax with. It is sweet and mellow, with a perky pinch of spiciness. It has just the right amount of caffeine to recharge me after a long day.

Well, what should I say about this tea? It’s not only me who is fond of its taste but my husband too enjoys it. We had ordered samples at first and thereafter we are a regular drinker of this tea. The flavor of this tea is a bit on the smokey side but definitely many of you are going to love it. Although, we had Keemun tea at some place few years back, it didn’t quite touch us. However, when we came across this one, we simply enjoyed every sip of it. A little milk along with some sugar works for me. Thank you Prima tea for such a lovely tea.

I had read somewhere that this variety is known as the Burgundy of Chinese Teas. This tea is quite powerful, and has a peppery quality. This quality makes this tea quite unique among black teas. I was lucky to have come across this tea at this online store, and since then have stuck to it. It surely is different. It is best to stock up this tea as it is very rare and not always available.

The woodsmoke flavor of this tea is dominant. So if you don’t like smoke or if smoke isn’t your thing, better to avoid it. If you can adjust to that, you will find out that the smokiness is smooth and not overwhelming with some dark tea flavor to compensate for it. Brewing some of this tea is shiny experience. This tea also forms a good combination when combines with other teas such as Yunnan Gold and Assam Harmony., This tea definitely makes my morning a cup of it keeps me active for hours to come by. Even if you are not interested in buying this, it is worth giving a try.

It is a very strong rich peppery tasted tea. It is a tea that is rich for its strength and promises to be unique. I needed to drink it with some honey since it is so strong.
