Numerous scientific studies published within the last couple of years showed that Wu-Long ( Oolong) tea helps melt away body fat; boost energy; and clarify skin, giving your face a clear, radiant glow.

A study published in the Journal of Medical Investigation, scientists from Japan’s University of Tokushima School of Medicine found that people who regularly consumed this tea experienced over twice the calorie-burning results of those who drank the same amount of green tea.
In one 2004 study by Dr. Kenichi Yanagimoto and colleagues from the University of California found that people who drank Wu-Long daily experienced a remarkable 50 percent reduction in free radicals within just 15 days.
A study from Japan’s Osaka University shows the regular consumption of Wu-Long strengthens teeth and helps prevent tooth decay by significantly inhibiting plaque deposition.
The Journal of Nutrition, vol. 131, 2001…
“It is clear that consumption of oolong tea stimulates both energy expenditure [thereby burning calories] and fat oxidation [also helpful] in normal weight men. This raises the possibility that tea consumption could have some beneficial effect on the individual’s ability to maintain a lower body fat content. However, any beneficial effect would only be realized if the effect was sustained on [substantial] consumption of tea and the individual did not compensate with greater food intake in response to tea consumption. The tea looks good enough to be tried. When put to a boil, a medium oolong is let off in red-brown color and you can get an aroma of black tea and earth. The taste of this tea is something like green and black. It is very smooth and delicious, along with some earthy notes beneath it. I also offered a few cups to my guests and they were quite pleased with the pleasant taste. They also asked me the place where I got this tea from and I promptly replied the source. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I love the Wite Tip Formosa Oolong tea. The brew has a distinct flavor and aroma making it so very special. I prefer to brew it a little longer, as it brings out the inherent taste flavor and aroma of the tea. It is kind of strong in flavor, but taste awesome when blended with honey. The taste of honey with the tea gives it a taste that is almost addictive.
