Oriental Beauty – Champagne Formosa Oolong 1lb

$135.00

One of our Artisan Reserve oolong teas, a line of small batch handmade teas from a craft handed down over generations. Hand selected for having all the hallmark qualities of the highest grades with notable
personality accents. Oriental Beauty Oolong Tea is an oolong tea also known as Bai Hao Oolong or
Champagne Formosa. The name Bai Hao means white tip and refers to the small tender white buds that are picked along with the top two leaves.
It has the floral sweetness and lingering notes of berry, but also has a deep earthy richness that is often not found in a Bai Hao. This tea has the complexities of an oolong in taste and aroma, but the appearance and strength of a black tea. Loved for its depth of personality and ability to handle long steep times.

It is said that Oriental Beauty tea was named by Queen Elizabeth II when the first time she tasted it. Because of the Asian origin and the lovely appearance of the tea leaves, she named the tea as Oriental Beauty Tea.

Oriental Beauty Tea is strongly recommended to who love black tea.
