Organic Yunnan 1st Grade China Black Tea 2 lbs

$52.00

Cultivated in the cloudy mountains of China’s Yunnan region, it has a sophisticated peppery flavor. It is produced from the tippy golden flowery orange pekoe along with numerous fat golden buds. It yields a robust beverage which tastes delectable both plain or blended with milk. You can revel in its aromatic and spicy flavor, quite comparable with the full bodied Indian Assam tea flavor, yet with its own distinct taste. Its fragrance refreshes like the cool breeze after a summer shower, and its classic Chinese taste reminds you of the traditional Chinese penchant for tea. It makes a wonderful morning tea, though you can savoir it anytime of the day you want to recharge yourself.

I discovered the different sensational teas only a few years back. I was googling around for this kind of tea when I came across Primatea. I saw this particular tea and decided to give it a try. To begin with I bought a sample so that in case I bought a large pack and didn’t love it, it would be waste of time and the tea. The leaves were long and twisted and they smelled like tobacco and bittersweet chocolate. I sipped a cup of it and I must say, I was pretty pleased with the taste. The taste was smooth and the color it obtained after boiling was coppery red. The fragrance lingers in your mouth for quite some time. I enjoyed it very much!!!

It definitely has the classic Yunnan character- It has that particular peppery note, is full of flavour and has a spicy aroma. I have developed a deep liking for its sweet and robust taste, and I found that it really went well with light savoury meals. Also pairs nicely with breads and cheeses.

It is a unique black tea for me. I was pleasantly surprised to taste such a robust black tea which is yet so smooth and easy going on my tongue. I also enjoyed its cheery light brisk flavor.
